Where Can You Go To Get Tested For COVID-19?

We have the power to protect our communities. Getting tested is a great step in keeping your friends and family safe. If you have reason to believe you may have come in contact with someone with COVID-19, you have symptoms or you made choices that would warrant getting tested, there are many places you can go.

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act ensures that COVID-19 testing is free to anyone, including the uninsured, in the United States. Tests are available at no-cost, at health centers and select pharmacies.

Below is a list of resources for getting tested for COVID-19:

Contact your healthcare provider:  If you have health insurance and would like to get tested, reach out to your healthcare provider by phone or send them an email message. You can find their contact information on the back of your insurance card or online. 

Baseline COVID-19 testing program: If you want to get tested but prefer not to go through your healthcare provider or don’t have health insurance, check out this testing program.The Baseline COVID-19 Testing Program was developed in collaboration with the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) testing program, with input from the federal program.

Find a health center near you: If you don’t have healthcare coverage use this resource to find no-cost COVID-19 testing centers nearest you: https://findahealthcenter.hrsa.gov 

*If you’re under the age of 18 you may have to go through your healthcare provider to get tested. Be sure to check with each location on age restrictions and requirements.
